Abstract
The advent of computers has left a significant impact on the mathematical world. Transportation problems have often been solved using numerical methods. However, with the help of computers, these problems can be solved effectively at a higher speed. Recently, computerised solutions for these problems have been developed.
In this project, its method of implementation involves the transformation of solutions numerically to computer command codes. The computer programming language used is Turbo Pascal version 7, a high level compilation language.
Solutions of transportation models are divided into two namely the basic feasible solution methods and the optimum solution. The first order solution which is the basic feasible solutions is discussed. Methods used include the north-west corner, minimum cost, Vogel approximation and Russell approximation.
The second order solution which is the optimum solution discusses stepping stones method and modified distribution method. Beside that, a few variations for the transportation model are also discussed.
In order to solve the transportation model using computer, minimum cost method and modified distribution method is transformed into computer commands.

Multimedia Interaktif Dalam Pembelajaran Teknologi Maklumat KBSM Peringkat SPM [Kertas projek bagi memenuhi syarat pengijazahan Sarjana Sains (Teknologi Maklumat) Universiti Utara Malaysia]
Abstract
Computer in education refers to the use of computer as a tool to help and enrich the teaching and learning process. The objective is of course to preserve the quality of education by improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Interactive Multimedia in Information Technology learning in KBSM at the SPM level consists of two main parts. First, the development of Interactive Multimedia Software Prototype for teaching and learning process of Information Technology under the topic of Computer System. The second part on the other hand, covers the testing process on software prototypes i.e. whether it is suitable to be used in class. For this purpose a survey has been carried out among the students of Kolej Matrikulasi Perlis.
The results however show that there is no significant prove or evidence that interactive multimedia technology can replace teaching and learning in class while at the same time get students' interest to learn information technology. Nevertheless, the combination of multimedia elements used is helpful in the information explanation process. But as a whole, the average agrees that the questionnaire in the survey has done justice.
